"Any great work of art ... revives and readapts time and space, and the measure of its success is the extent to which it makes you an inhabitant of that world — the extent to which it invites you in and lets you breathe its strange, special air." Leonard Bernstein, What Makes Opera Grand?

This game was created as part of the course Game Programming at the Technische Universität Berlin. We were four students working on it for about three month. I had the lead but also programmed enemies, helped with UI design, balanced the units and did some little artworks. It was my biggest project until now and I'm really proud of what we could accomplish in the short amount of time. The team was awesome and it was a lot of fun too.

The game is my first milestone and a classical, game programming beginner clone of tetris. I worked on it for about a week in total. I almost did the entire art first and started programming afterwards, so I had a good picture of where I wanted to go. The game features a ghost block, soft-drop, a hold block, a three-piece preview and a highscore functionality. It has some very simple sounds with a groovie old N64 Tetris background music. You actually can win the game, if you make it to level 23, which should be fairly hard. ;D
