Information about me

I am a 26 years old computer science student. I live in Berlin and should actually work on my diploma thesis instead of taking care of game programming...but I think we all know how hard it is not to play games. ;D

Since my youth I'm interested in computer games. I started programming with MS Basic and pilled computer programming books since then doing all kinds of small stuff, more for myself, then anyone else to play. I never felt the need to collect anything of it nor seeing it as a possibility for what I can do later on. This is also the reason that I did not streamlined or focused on one specific aspect. I did, what I felt would be fun and what grabbed my interest.

Now I got older and wiser - lol - and thought it would be quite nice to focus more on game programming and game design. A very good course at my university pointed me into the right direction and so, here I am, trying to program some little games for fun and educational purposes. If anyone is interested in it, the better! And yes, I also want to put up some pressure on myself, to really get things done and not switching to another project halfway through.

When I'm not sitting in front of a computer I do all kinds of things that range from politics to playing soccer over cooking and beating the keys on a piano. If you find anything interesting enough to send me a note, please do so and I will be glad to write back.
